Intelligence Testing
Cognitive assessments provide a comprehensive understanding of intellectual functioning, including strengths, challenges, and how an individual processes information. At Veritas Mind Psychology, we offer gold-standard assessments using the WISC-V (for children) and WAIS-IV (for adolescents and adults).
These assessments are often used to support diagnosis, guide intervention, and inform school or workplace accommodations.
The Wechsler Intelligence Scales are internationally recognised tools used to assess cognitive functioning:
WISC-V (Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children – Fifth Edition)
→ Ages 6–16 yearsWAIS-IV (Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale – Fourth Edition)
→ Ages 16+ yearsThese assessments provide a detailed breakdown of cognitive abilities across key domains, not just a single IQ score.
